Hi from Maple N Mane Morgans
It seems that horses have been a part of our lives for just about as long as we can remember. Glenn and I have always dreamed of owning land in the country and raising our girls on a farm. One day in passing, Glenn commented that the two most abundant features on our farm were the maple trees and the manes of our Morgans. Somehow Maple N Mane just fit. With the passing of time and all the work that has gone into our property, Maple N Mane is deep within our hearts.
Maple N Mane is a working family farm located in central Alberta. As a family we roll up our sleeves and tackle all the tasks that come with living on a farm. Glenn is the brains and the brawn behind all the work that has gone into making our home what it is today.
Morgans have played a huge part in our family's life for the past twelve years. As we watched Maple N Mane come to life it felt like a natural progression to start raising the type of Morgans we have always loved and come to count on.
Another valuable member of our family is my sister Dana Bell-Crossland. Dana has a natural talent and stick to it determination that allows her to bring out the best in every horse she works with. Each and every horse at Maple N Mane, during the course of time, has found or will find themselves taking lessons from Dana. Her Morgans, which are R.J. Gaylord's Dandy, Rosebud's Katie, HMSTD Rainwashed, HMSTD Sun of a Gun, HMSTD Buckwheat Betty, BUTTE'S Desert Shadow, and BUTTE'S CR Max have also been included as part of the Maple N Mane Program. In the future, when foals from her mares are listed for sale they will carry her prefix GDYUP.
